This Tomintoul 14 years old has been bottled at 46% vol to retain the whisky’s unique and natural characteristics and subtlety of taste and by not chill-filtering this expression it ensures that the aromatic components in the whisky are preserved to enhance impact and flavour. Colour : Warm gold. Nose : Delicate, honeyed-cream with light floral malt, hints of wild fennel and a complex sweetness. Palate : A luscious ensnarement of dry oaky vanillas and clean creamy malt which never overpower a natural sweetness. Finish : A proclivity to dryness with slight peppery tones.
