Our Heavy Split reins, sometimes known as Cutting reins are made from quality Herman Oak harness right here in our workshop. Each rein is naturally weighted for balance, with all edges beveled and finished by hand to make for a pair of great feeling reins. These feature water loops and optional stainless scissor snaps, and either natural or brown edges. We make these in a variety of lengths and widths. If you would like anything other than what you see here, we can help you out just ask! We also make these in a Double Stitched style. The natural colour of these reins will darken with conditioner/oil and use, if you would like we are happy to pre-oil these before postage which also helps to soften the reins for use.
