One year after moving into the new headquarters, Wössner celebrates its 40th anniversary in March 2019. What began as a one-man business developed over decades into a globally operating company, which is constantly expanding.
On 03/01/2018 Wössner GmbH moves to the new headquarters in Haltingen / Weil am Rhein.
In addition to the already established West Division in California, Wössner expanded USA and founded the East Division in Ohio. Wössner pistons are still produced exclusively in Germany.

The growing demand for high-performance forging pistons led to the founding of Wössner Italia Srl. in Monale. The pistons produced in Germany are also marketed there.
Wössner acquires its own smithy and thereby secures the quality of its metals: FGM Forging Group Monale now belongs to the Wössner Group.
Today’s Wössner Group was founded in 2005 with the founding of Wossner USA Inc. in California. Wössner pistons are still produced exclusively in Germany.
Wössner’s expansive development requires an increase in the production area to fourfold in early 2003.
The in-house production of forging pistons took place in the 1990s: in 1994 the foundation stone for Wössner GmbH was laid.
At the end of the 70s Motorsportler Eckart Wössner started importing pistons in Germany.
